LaVar: "If LeBron comes, I'll make him understand that he's got to calm down and don't let the media fool him into messing with me."

I don't think LeBron cares one bit about LaVar. He likes Lonzo and that's all that really matters.

Gotta love Ramona Shelborne (though this was probably referring to Lonzo's "diss track" of Kuzma): >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "We're THIS close to landing LeBron James, Paul George, and maybe even Kawhi Leonard. You little sh-ts better not ruin this for me!!" - Magic Johnson's inner voice …

I wasn't going to say anything about it, but when I saw the lyrics from that rap song about Kuzma I cringed. Thought it crossed a line and was in poor taste.

This is still what concerns me about Lonzo the most. It's OK to have fun with your teammates, and I know he and Kuz are close....but saying that stuff about Kuz not knowing his father was way over the line. But, the more concerning thing to me is Lonzo continuing to spend far too much time (in my opinion) on the TV Show, Rap Songs and other non-basketball activities. It is fine to take some time during the offseason to chill (and I know he has been spending time in the weight room), but in my mind, he needs to become a gym rat UNTIL he proves himself in the NBA (ala Randle last offseason). Lakers Management has told him as much. He still has to prove he is not an injury prone, preoccupied player in my eyes. Just my humble opinion. The potential is there, but it is up to him to live up to it and hone/improve his skill set.

Lonzo is still a kid and so is Kuzma. While it got out of hand a little bit, the Lakers management has reeled them back in and squashed the matter. They're best buds and I am sure it was all in good fun. It won't affect their friendship and it won't affect whether or not James comes or Kawhi or anyone else for that matter.

It's water under the bridge. This isn't like D-NO and Spazzy P.
